PILA CANALE, a small village in the TARAVO VALLEY, south of AJACCIO, post code " 20 123 ", a village that, like so many others, has been unable to right off the rural exodus. To ensure that not everything was forgotten, the idea grew that they should recreate the décor and the ambiance that was typical of the village, in the town? This idea has become reality over time: by the light of a lamp, sharing a traditional Corsical meal where the culinary heritage is kept alive with the simple recipes of our mothers and grandmothers, authentic flavours created with quality, fresh local products. It is the opportunity to discover a bit about the people and their lives, through their cuisine. A moment of conviviality shared to the sound of traditional songs, because Corsica is built out of these mealtime rituals, these songs that form part of the culture.
