ROSEMARY HÔTEL

In the heart of Bastia, behind the walls of a bourgeois house built in 1925, the Rosemary Hôtel revives the spirit of the great Corsican residences. Surrounded by a listed garden of terraces planted with citrus fruits, olive trees, fig trees and aromatic plants, the house houses an intimate luxury hotel with eleven rooms and suites, all located in the main building and garden. Each room has been designed as a luminous refuge, opening onto the gardens, the lime trees or the sea. Noble materials, warm wood panelling, bathtubs facing the horizon or large picture windows overlooking the vegetation create a unique atmosphere, where you can feel the softness and light so special to Corsica. At the heart of the house, the glass roof bathed in greenery provides a peaceful setting for breakfasts, while the cosier bar is the ideal place to extend the evening with a cocktail. The restaurant opens onto a shady terrace under the lime trees, where the cuisine features local produce and producers. Higher up in the garden, the swimming pool overlooks Bastia and the Mediterranean. A few deckchairs, the scent of citrus fruit and the afternoon sun create a suspended refuge between sky and sea. The house vegetable garden provides fruit, vegetables and aromatic herbs that inspire the cooking throughout the seasons.
