⁃ The Citadel encircled by ramparts and the Governors' Palace which houses the city's History Museum, Sainte Marie Cathedral, the Mantinum green theatre with a breathtaking panorama of the old town ;
⁃ Le Vieux - Port, one of the city's most picturesque districts, with a multitude of restaurants and cafés.
The Aldilonda, a unique structure, a footbridge over the sea clinging to the ramparts of the Citadel, which provides access to the Spassimare, a soft path stretching all the way to the Arinella beach.
⁃ Markets, which burst with colour. Every weekend it welcomes dozens of producers: charcuterie, cheeses, honey, jam, sweet and savoury fritters. Just a stone's throw away, rue Napoléon, a pedestrianised shopping street ideal for a stroll, boasts numerous addresses dedicated to local gastronomy.
⁃ Place Saint Nicolas, the meeting place for Bastians who gather here for a drink on a terrace overlooking the sea. The starting point for tourist routes through the town, it's also the mecca for flea markets and festivities of all kinds.
⁃ The balcony villages, from Furiani in the south, to Ville di Pietrabugno, San Martinu di Lota and Santa Maria di Lota at the gateway to Cap Corse, accessible in around ten minutes from Bastia.

⁃ The Monserato Chapel and its famous Scala Santa on the heights of Bastia.
⁃ La Nivere du col de Bocca Pruna, on the heights of Ville di Pietrabugnu, a remarkable structure, fully restored, accessible via the heritage trail, starting from the hamlet of Guaitella, in less than an hour's walk.

Fashion and design
Every June at the Musée de Bastia.
The festival has become a not-to-be-missed event, welcoming designers from all over the island for three days to showcase their work to a public in search of beautiful pieces, original collections or unique works. Island artists also play an important role in the festival, with singers, musicians and DJs performing at a frenetic pace throughout the evenings.

- The Mattei mill between Ersa and Centuri. An emblematic place symbolising the entrepreneurial spirit of the Capcorsins. Magnificent panorama.
- The Seneca Tower in Luri. Nestled on a rocky outcrop, this is a fantastic belvedere offering a view of the two seas.
- The bell tower of Canari on the village square, offering a beautiful panorama.
- The Paoline Tower in Nonza, from which you can admire the famed and vast black pebble beach.
- The restored Tour d'Albo, which can be visited.

Every Wednesday from June to September, discover the historical, cultural and natural heritage of a Corsican valley, Luri, with a guide on a walking tour. The programme includes a visit to an ‘American house’, chapels and small heritage sites, so you can follow in the footsteps of the Capcorsins who forged the history of this peninsula: lords, farmers, long-distance sailors, intrepid adventurers.

The Tourist Office is working with the Marine Park to offer free guided tours of the Santa Maria chapel and the Tour d'Albo, as well as with the CdC's Department of Natural Environments, offering several free guided walks on the Moulin Mattei and Albo sites. These are great cultural offers in unspoilt areas, designed to raise visitors' awareness of the importance of preserving ecosystems.
