Its hidden gems

-          The rehabilitated village of Fiuminale accessible after more than an hour's walk. A beautiful stroll starting from the Pont de l'Inferno, running alongside the Petrignani river. Up there, you can admire the rehabilitated village, its little chapel and enjoy delicious Corsican specialities from one of our partners.

-          The Struccia waterfall in the village of Carchetu è Brustico. A short 15-minute walk from the church is required to reach this natural gem. This family-friendly walk allows you to admire the waterfall and bathe in its crystal-clear waters.

-          The village of San Giovanni di Moriani, with San Ghjuvanni church dating from the 17th century, a classified historical monument. At 33m, its bell tower is one of the highest in Corsica. If you feel like it, take a stroll along the botanical trail. The village also boasts a number of artisan producers, traditional charcuterie and organic bread.

-          Markets: Poghju è Mezzana, Arcarotta, I Luni di l'Identità, night markets in Cervioni and Port de laverna.

-          Fairs: San Brancà, Bocca di u Pratu, A Festa di a Nuciola, A Fiera di a Madonna in Santa Lucia di Moriani.

-          Festivals: San Ghjuvanni in Cantu, Settembrinu.

-          Sports: the Alisgianinca, Via Romana, Casinca trails; the Tyrrhenian route, the Basque pelota tournament, the armchair tennis tournament at the Tennis Club de la Costa Verde.

-          Religious festivals: Catenacciu, Santa Cristina Festival, Scupiccia Vigil, Madonna Festival, San Mamilianu Festival. During the summer season, there are numerous concerts (polyphonic, jazz, baroque, classical, etc.) and various events.

Interesting services

During the summer season, the Tourist Office offers two free shuttle services. These shuttles, called ‘Histoires de Villages’ (Village Stories), allow visitors to enjoy :

-          Mondays: Lundis du Terroir (alternating between the villages of

-          Talasani and Peru-Casevechje) with a farmers' market followed by a polyphony concert (Ensemble Tavagna) in the village church,

-          Tuesdays: discovery of the village of Cervioni (guided tour of the ADECEC museum and the Cathedral of Saint Erasmus) and free time at the night market.

All categories are present: hotels, holiday villages, bed and breakfasts, gîtes d'étapes, residential leisure parks, tourist and holiday residences, campsites, etc.

There are around 15,000 commercial beds.
