The olive fair is held every year in the village of Montemaggiore, in the commune of Montegrosso in the Balagne region, and attracts 10,000 visitors who are passionate about the olive and its virtues. Corsican olive oil is a pure fruit juice, and there are plenty of tastings to choose from, combining the oil with Corsican products. The Olive Fair has been awarded the "Remarkable Taste Site" label, one of the 100 French taste sites, by the Conseil National de l'art culinaire.
